Terms & Conditions
Last updated 13 August 2026
These terms govern your use of DailyMeteo, a service operated by GILAB D.O.O.. By creating an account or using the platform, the API, or any data obtained through them, you agree to what follows.
01 · Scope
The service
DailyMeteo provides access to a gridded daily meteorological dataset through an interactive map, downloadable exports, an AI assistant, and a REST API. The dataset and its methodology are described on the dataset page.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will give notice before it takes effect.
02 · Accounts
Your account and API key
- You must provide an accurate email address and keep your credentials secure.
- Your API key authenticates requests billed to your account. Treat it as a secret; you are responsible for usage made with it until you revoke it.
- One account is for one person or one organisation. Sharing credentials to circumvent usage limits is not permitted.
- You may close your account at any time from the account dashboard.
03 · Usage
Plans, credits, and fair use
Point queries, polygon queries, and bulk downloads consume credits according to the plan you are on. Credit costs and plan limits are documented in the pricing documentation.
- Credits are consumed when a query is accepted for processing, including queries that you subsequently abandon.
- We may rate-limit or temporarily suspend access that threatens the stability of the service.
- Automated scraping of the platform outside the documented API is not permitted.
04 · Data
Licensing and attribution
Data you retrieve from DailyMeteo may be used for research, commercial, and editorial purposes, including in derived products. When you publish results derived from the dataset, attribute DailyMeteo and, where a citation is appropriate, reference the methodology described on the dataset page.
The dataset is derived from public meteorological networks including GHCN-Daily, ECA&D, and GSOD. Their own terms continue to apply to the underlying station observations.
05 · Warranty
Accuracy and liability
The dataset is produced by spatial interpolation from station observations. Its accuracy varies by region, variable, and period — the validation tables on the dataset page report this in detail. It is provided “as is”, without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, GILAB D.O.O. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service or reliance on the data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
06 · General
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, where GILAB D.O.O. is established. Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page.
